Vulnerabilities:	Venom has a weak spot for innocents. Enemies use this to their advantage to escape. He also has a weakness for high-pitched sound and a weakness to fire.

History:

Son of Carl and Jamie Brock, Eddie grew up without a mother. Jamie Brock died giving birth to Edward. Brock grew up with a father who gave him no affection. With Jamie dead, Carl Brock's lost his ability to care for others. As a child, Eddie did everything to gain his father's affection. Straight A's in school, athletic medals and trophies, everything; it all didn't win his father's affection. Carl was not a cruel father, as he ensured that Eddie got the best education, finest health care, and the latest toys; he just couldn't give the one thing Eddie wanted: his father's love.

In his later years, Eddie majored in Journalism and gained a career as such working for the Daily Bugle. It was during this period that Eddie caught who he thought was the 'Sin-Eater', but it turned out to be nothing more than a prankster. Spider-Man caught the real Sin-Eater and destroyed Eddie's journalistic career. As a result, communication between his father, Carl, and Eddie ceased all together.

Seeing his life ruined by Spider-Man and filled with hatred, Eddie saw that the only escape as suicide. However, before Eddie killed himself, a rejected alien symbiote (rejected by and brought back from 'Battle World' by Spider-Man) who shared the same hatred of Spider-Man found Brock and bonded with him to form Venom!
